The Business Development Manager will be responsible for assisting ICTGlobe to maintain its position by proactively developing and expanding the company’s customer base. At ICTGlobe, Business Development Managers / Customer Relationship Managers are self-motivated individuals with strong business acumen and a keen interest in technology. The responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to work alongside technical specialists to build and design the correct solution that is tailored towards solving the customers challenges, to generate new business and upsell on specific accounts in a variety of industries. The ideal candidate would display an exceptional level of self-management, commitment, and initiative to succeed at ICTGlobe.
Responsibilities
- Ensure sales growth and profitability and return on investment for customers by actively managing and expanding new and existing sales customer accounts
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets
- Develop and establish new sales opportunities by engaging in research as well as cultivating relationships through on site visits, networking, and customer referrals
- Establish trusted relationships through consultative selling to understand the needs of the prospect and customer to move beyond service provider status to a mutually beneficial partnership
- Maintain a competitive edge by remaining abreast of industry trends and market activities
- Conduct research into prospective and current customer base to identify opportunities and anticipate future needs
- Work with a technical specialist to build and design the correct solution that is tailored towards solving the customers unique challenges
- Act as an advisor for the customer by engaging in continued research and detailed analysis to understand and anticipate future customer needs as well as to provide new perspectives and insights
- Handle customer queries and advise the customer on the procedures that need to be followed on system queries and support tickets
- Work in a collaborative sales team and be willing to assist and learn from one another

Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- 2 – 3 years sales experience in an ICT and/or business communication industry
- Proven track record of sales targets reached
- Basic knowledge of network, connectivity and telephony
- B2B sales experience in medium to large companies
- Valid Driver’s License
- Own Transport
