Sales Channel Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a Sales Channel Manager to develop, maintain and expand relationships with assigned channel accounts. The Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives. The channel manager will also conduct sales training to ensure that all sales professionals have thorough knowledge of the product, can effectively use closing skills, overcome objections and use consultative selling techniques.


  • Develop and sustain new sales channels and proactively recruits new qualifying partners
  • Contacting, establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with assigned channel partners
  • When the need arises join the Partner in customer visits as the Distributor/Service Provider to ensure sales closure
  • Work closely with our internal departments in order to help meet the performance objectives of the channel partners
  • Work within the boundaries of a channel CRM and constantly update all necessary inputs for partner pipelines, partner targets etc.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives and targets
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies and confirms partner needs on an ongoing basis
  • Have to meet assigned targets
  • Develops a client specific solution that best address end-user needs
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements
  • Facilitating all communications with resellers, managing account profiles, monitor competitor activity, forming plans for increasing market share and communicating channel activities
  • Prepares new sales representatives by conducting sales training with them
  • Determine training needs by gathering information from the other channel managers as well as the channel partners
  • Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques based on feedback

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the sales industry (preferably in the Telecommunication field)
